Bald Eagle

During the winter, when Hamilton Harbour was almost completely frozen, Bald Eagles were regularly seen sitting out on the ice. This bird was seen at La Salle Harbour at the weekend. I think it is a sub-adult II (of 2-3 years age). I'm judging this from the fact that it has only a single juvenile secondary remaining on each wing (the paler protruding feathers).
